Paris la bel

The island, or something to that nature; the origins of the city along the Seine. Such beautiful canals. More cheese and rotissirie chicken than I could ever dream of. This could be the next city I live in. I have fallen in love with it!

Me and you know who, in the background. Holy tourists!! There's a restaurant located on one of the levels of this monster; imagine the price of that bill! Apparently, one has to book a reservation 2 months in advance.
Well, I guess we now know the origins of the city plan of Washington DC. I had some cheese and a capuccino in a cafe just around this area. The view was incredible.

The French know how to landscape; I offer my congratulations in that regard. The streets are wide and luciously green. That's the arc de Triumphe in the background.

Notre Dame along another canal. Notice the lines of people awaiting entry to the cathedral and the boat under the bridge. Tourists everywhere! No wonder the French have such a reputation for being rude. I'd be grumpy too.
