Snow in London? 9 inches of snow in London? Of course; the largest snow storm in some one hundred years had to occur during my stay. It reminded me of good ol' Buffalo.
This is a street in Pimlico, of London; I was impressed by the very elegant white facades of all the apartment complex's/houses. It was surreal to see so much white everywhere. Although, I perfer my dirty brick house.
The Lloyd's building (on the right) designed by Richard Rogers. Certainly, an industrial design if I've ever seen one.
London's famous Gherkin Building by Sir Norman Foster - my favorite building in the city. Allegedly, it uses approximately 40 percent less energy than other tower in the city. The darkened glass is actually an atrium space that spirals around the building; and effectively offers an interior view, up or down the building. Absolutely ingenious.
